Some additional informations:

Our parish was founded in 1936 by the blessed bishop-martyr Pavel Gojdich, OSBM. The church was built in 1859-1861 and was originally a Roman Catholic Church (here you can see the view of the church before the iconostasis was built). Byzantine Catholics have used this church for about 30 years. The iconostasis was built in December 1996, the icons were painted by Rastislav Bujna.

We invite you to listen to the chants of our church choirs Chrysostomos and Kyrillomethodeon. (All songs are in mp3.)

Our parish was among the first in Slovakia that have had an own internet page. Here can you see its first version (1994).
